Hope shines brightest in the darkest moments.

We are Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners providing psychiatric medication management for ages 16 and older in Bedford, NH and the surrounding communities. Our clinic offers a warm environment for patients seeking both therapy and medication to treat psychiatric symptoms. We are happy to collaborate with your existing therapist or primary care provider.  Together we bring over 30 years of combined experience providing psychiatric services to individuals, families and communities.  As psychiatric nurse practitioners we prescribe medication in a way that provides high quality, patient centered psychiatric care using a nonjudgmental approach. Our providers focus on staying up-to-date with medical practices. In addition to medication management, our clinic also offers pharmagentic testing, referral to nutrition, wellness practices and experienced psychotherapists if needed. Our providers keep a small case load of therapy patients, please inquire if you are seeking therapy.  We hope you make the next step toward wellness with us and we look forward to meeting you!

What to expect: You should expect to see your provider for a one hour intake and for 30-45 minutes for each follow up session.  The intake is not admission into our practice. You and the provider will determine if it is a mutually good fit within the first session. The provider will be engaged in your  treatment and proactive in your care while a patient at Psychiatric Wellness Center. We believe it is important to get to know you as a person and we look forward to meeting you. Please be aware that once stable on medications, we will expect to see you every 2-3 months to maintain safe and quality care. Some practices see patients much less than this, we ask that you understand this prior to your appointment. Our patients enjoy and benefit from this quality care and monitoring. Our providers will see therapy patients weekly, unless otherwise agreed upon.  Please review our policies and procedures here.  To make the first step in your  wellness journey, click here to schedule a new patient appointment.

A Word About Emergencies:
Because we are a small practice,  we do not have the resources to respond to emergencies 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Larger group practices and community agencies do have this capability. If you anticipate multiple emergencies you should consider seeking services from one of these larger agencies.  We do not offer crisis services. Please take your needs into account when picking our practice.

A Word About Coordination:
It is the policy of our clinic that we coordinate care including scheduling directly with our patients. This includes the first phone screening, intake and all continuous care. We treat  ages 16 plus only in our clinic. If you require more complex care, we encourage you to seek a larger agency. We do not offer case management.
