About: Mandi is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who enjoys meeting with her patients and creating a warm and focused treatment environment conducive to communication and healing. Her patients often report feeling comfortable and at ease; building long lasting therapeutic relationships. Mandi is a strong advocate for her patient’s needs and goals toward healthy living. She has two decades of experience in the mental health field with a firm knowledge of diagnosis and treatment options. Mandi understands each person may require a different approach and is able to meet each patient where they are in life in a nonjudgmental way.
Mandi enjoys collaborating with primary care and is able to refer to therapists as well as nutrition when needed. She is happy to educate you on your symptoms and work collaboratively with your treatment team. As a nurse practitioner she prescribes medication and orders lab work when needed. Additionally, she can write Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters.
Experience: Mandi’s began her career working as a therapist after obtaining her master’s degree from Lesley University. She worked on a PACT team in Boston as their substance abuse director. Later she worked as an in home therapist, aiding children and families through traumatic life events. She went on to supervise a crisis team in Boston, MA, working with at risk children and adults in crisis. Mandi then obtained her Master’s in Nursing from MGH-IHP in Boston. She worked at a crisis stabilization unit in Lynn, MA as their nurse and also at UMASS Worcester in the psychiatric Emergency Room and inpatient unit.
Mandi went on to provide consultation to nursing home medical staff regarding psychotropic medication care for the elderly in Seattle, WA and also worked in a women's primary care clinic in Central WA. Mandi has worked in outpatient community health in Springfield, MA. She has extensive experience with Eating Disorders having treated patients with eating disorders in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Mandi excels at working one on one with patients in her private practice and plans to continue working within the Bedford community long term.

Clinical Interests: Mandi enjoys supporting mothers with planning pregnancy around medications, providing peri and post-partum treatment, mood disorders, treatment resistant depression, creating a safe place to receive care for PTSD and anxiety, sleep difficulties, marital issues including support through divorce and infidelity, chronic and terminal illness, as well as stage of life changes. Mandi is one of the few providers in our area who specializes with patients struggling with body dysmorphia and eating disorders, including issues with self-esteem. She also treats caregivers experiencing burnout as well as healthcare providers.
